It’s been 10 days since my last entry. I’ve been running and working hard. We got back from Korea a few days ago. In Korea I saw an awesome nation that prays. Yes, prays. The people in Korea get up at 4 or 5 o’clock in the morning to meet at the church and pray. Not just one small church here and there, but hundreds and thousands of people every day meeting to pray for their nation, Church, family and themselves. We also went to a prayer place, one of many, where people come to fast and pray for days. At this prayer mountain there a these small 4 X 6 foot rooms carved out of the hill for people to spend the day praying in. In the chapel at this place there are people camping out at the altar waiting to hear from God. There is nothing to compare this to in my mind. If only the rest of the world would look toward Korea to learn! Also while I was in Korea I worked on a website for a Youth foundation. At the foundation I met two ministers that I believe will be life long friends, Pastor Jung Hoon and Evangelist Chew. Sunday I went with there youth to the DMZ, the line that separates South and North Korea. I had a blast learning Korean from the kids in the bus on the way to the DMZ and while there walked down a tunnel that the North Koreans dug. Wow! Not a walk I want to take again, deep, long, steep….did I say steep. While loading up to go back to the Church from the DMZ one of the kids had a stick with chicken on it, it looked good. As we traveled to the Church a girl setting with me offered a piece of meat to me on a tooth pick, thought it was chicken, NOPE! Not chicken! It was some kind of toasted maggot! It wasn’t bad so I had a few more. Here’s some pic. Remember to look at Japanpraynetwork.com , and while your there sign up to pray for Japan. Also pray for us here we have a lot to do in the next week. Comments (0)
